Spiced start with mature black fruit throughout. Good weight and length, moderate ripeness on finish. Good now.

Found a bottle I thought I’d lost. Lean and acidic, but plenty of flesh still on the palate. Orange peel and spice notes on the nose, with seemingly mature fruit notes on a fresh palate. Good length on the finish but less depth than expected. In a good place, but I don’t see the goods for “improvement.” Strong showing for challenging year.

Drinking wonderfully right now. Age has given this wine complexity that wasn’t there a few years ago. There is still a zing of acidity that may make me hold my last bottle for at least 5 more years. Fantastic and open one now if you can.

brought to an offline, served paired against a 2012 PG Freedom Hill. Interesting contrast, this was far lighter (in color, body, fruit, tannin and ABV), the Freedom hill was dark, riper, a bit brooding and with some big tannins. This was light, pretty, red fruit. Not much left in way of structure, drink up.

This fleshed out after about 30 minutes in the glass; Initially, this lacked some concentration, but opened up to reveal a medium-bodied palate of red fruit, baking spices and dried herbs; Should continue to drink well for several more years

Black berry and cherry with moderate concentration, good spice, floral hints. Some slightly green edge middle to finish. Prob better in a year or two.

Nicely floral start. black cherry and berry aromas, flavors with good concentration, medium spice. Faintly sweet note slightly detracts from the finish for me. Perhaps better as it softens more in another year or three.

Bought 4 different Patricia Green Pinot Noirs; never have I seen a wine change some much over just a few years

Complex bouquet, more mineral than fruit, short palate.

All Wadenswil clone. Late ripening. offers up a wildly different nose. bee pollen notes. resolving whole cluster notes on the palate. lots of mineral and 'quartz.'

Light ruby color. Nose was a bit tight at first but after a while it opened up to show some nice cranberry, orange peel and sweet spice notes. Tart red fruit flavors and a bit of forest floor on the palate with dried cranberry and cherry notes on the back end. High acidity, light bodied but good concentration. I think this wine could have used some additional bottle time to unwind a bit but certainly drinkable now with a nice …

Memorial Day Weekend & Eyrie South Block Reserve Pinots (Willamette Valley, Oregon) : Barrel Sample. Nice bigger fruit here, though at the same time the aromas are more elegant. Quite nice and pleasing. Grippy and large palate, with soft fruit, tart and grippy texture. More of the same on the finish, with good acid though very tightly wound. This could open up beautifully, and is very well balanced. 88-91 points
