Colour: Very pale straw Aroma: Strong lychees, a touch of citrus (lemons) and fresh apples. Palate: Dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium body. Long finish, lemons and apples, stone fruit (apricots). Very lively early on in the palate. Tried this with smoked eggplant dip, which mellowed out that initial hit and brought forward more complexity in the body. Still showing youth, but very drinkable and refreshing - a very unique example of a Sauvignon Blanc from Tasmania.
