Lovely fruit and spices on the nose and palate with a nice long finish. Well balanced.

Fair acidity, and warm barnyard on nose. Slightly elevated alcohol level not unduly distracting. Drink cool and after a few hours open

Dark garnet color. This wine came across as a cool climate Pinot from a really hot year. Dark fruit dominated with a lot of oak. Too much for my tastes - it really masks the fruit. The oak seems to be high quality, but just over the top. Probably wouldn't buy this wine again as it lacks any real PN typicity and my tastes lean towards cooler climate, higher acidity vegetal PN.

Rather elegant and supple nose with red berries, some sweet cherries, cinnamon and nicely integrated oak. But it lacks depth and complexity. Medium body, balanced palate with fresh acidity. A little bit sweet fruit and some fieriness to it. But balanced oak character without disturbing bitterness. Strawberry, cinnamon and ginger. A balanced example of fine NZ Pinot, but lacking depth.

A fresh quite low aroma of red berries quite a bit of strawberries. Has some really nice complexity to it.
