Forholdsvis kraftig Spätburgunder. Lett reduktiv, med tydelig eik og røyk. Noe jordlige toner, men også blåbær, bringebær og jordbær. På smak er det sure kirsebær og god fruktsødme. Pen syre og lengde. Godt balansert vin med en viss eleganse.

Brief notes from a social event. Fruit ripe and nicely extracted sour cherry along with plum confiture. A bit rustic deployment of oak. Fresh palate, light but with an element of harsh wood. Pretty good all in all, but nothing special.

Sour cherry fruit coupled with ripe raspberry. Thick smoky layer. Overall a bit plump, lacking layers. Fruit-forward palate with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Not ideal, but still a good drink for a social event.

A darker cherry type of fruit. Earthy and a bit heavy on the oak front. Herbal notes of dried nettles and leather. A concentrated and dense palate with fresh acidity into the finish and good weight overall. Nicely chewy, polished and extracted.

An intense wine with ripe and extracted sour cherry and dark cherry fruit. Earth and leathery base notes provide for verticality and depth. There are also herbal and spicy layers with muscat standing out. Mineral notes round off the picture. The palate shows a soft texture with unexpectedly fresh acidity, but can‘t mirror nor expand on the complexity. The finish closes in a slightly austere fashion.

Sour cherry fruit with a great degree of refinement. Nice touch of liquorish, earthy notes and fine leather. With a bit of air adding more raspberry elements to the fruit profile as well as revealing a tickling, peppery side. Super-fresh acidity, perfectly balanced with soft tannin. Juicy fruit. While we‘re easily 3-5 years too early here, this is already showing highly appealing. Great value. Addendum: Better on day 2, adding scorched earth and savory notes. The palate with more spice …

Plums, cinnamon and smoky/toasty christmas spices, very mineral, stony. Excellent intensity on nose and palate, terrific freshness and balance, long. Already delicious and very complete, will be outstanding I'm sure when it's fully mature. 17.5+/20

Elegant, dense and delicious PN aromas. Also some sweet-and-sour notes and some vanilla.

Nose: Earthy, red berries, forest floor, hint of oak. Palate: Medium-high body with good concentration. Ripe red berries, green herbs, spices and oak. Note: Opened up after one hour in decanter. Good storage potential.
