WES - Chile - Great Wine from Small Producers (LSE Holborn) : Intense, inky, no colour change. Earthy, medical and alcoholic on the nose. Dusty and brambles and cassis. Black rich fruits on the palate. Cassis, ripe, lush with good acidity and a tannic finish. A little short.

The Pequeñas Chile Tasting: Boutique Wineries of Chile (Bridgewater Hall, Manchester) : 56% cabernet sauvignn, 42% carmenère,1% petit verdot, 1% cabernet franc The nose has nicely perfumed sweetish black fruit. Quite leafy. Very good palate, and it has a very silky mouthfeel. Layers of flavours reveal themselves slowly.
