I absolutely adore this rum and it saddens me to have witnessed price creep over the past few years into moderately expensive territory. Even so, I still find it hard to pass up when I find it on the shelf. It is a beautiful pastiche of hogo, elegance, and depth. Just delicious.

Dark orange-coppery hue So much powdery vanilla pineapple, and toasted oak off the nose. Intoxicating. Warm to the mouth, and an instant mild belly burn. It's strong. Super intense flavor profile. I get a lot of orange off it. There is a medicinal after taste that lingers, which I don't care for, thus the score. By and large this is a wonderful rum.
