Poured at the winery. Very deep dark purple magenta color. Cacao-dusted black cherry and sweet basil are the dominant notes. Smooth, dry palate, with dusty acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This is terrifically youthful. It’s very built, yet modestly approachable. This is 43% Teroldego, 29% Syrah, 25% Sangiovese, and 3% Barbera, aged 24 months in 36% new French oak.
