Bodegas Carlos Serres Rioja Fino Clarete

Had it w/fusion European cuisine. Cork got smashed when opened. Very plum-ish nose from the get-go, very pleasant and classic vintaged Rioja. Color is still in light red hue, not much brownish tone as I thought. Body is still holding up decently, a bit thin but totally alright. Fruit is mostly gone, very smooth. Drank the whole btl within 1.5 hr, and probably a good time span. If any longer, both nose & palette would be dropped off too much. …
