Wagner-Weritz Erbacher Hohenrain Riesling Auslese

PnP straight from the temp controlled wine locker. Cork was very wet, was worried it may be corked. Turned out just fine. Initially had tastes of apple juice, with low level acidity. About 30 minutes after it started showing vanilla notes with a touch of structure. Color was almost reminiscent of a port. I appreciate this bottle for what it was, but I think I like my Riesling slightly younger :)!
