Dinner at L'Artusi with work colleagues (L'Artusi - West Village NYC) : Brought to L'Artusi in NYC, great corkage friendly spot with fabulous food and knowledgeable wine service. In OCNJ w the family, PnP with some past and ribs. Purple/ruby color. Nose showing dark fruits, earth and touch of oak. Palate showing blackberry, cassis, currant, faint licorice. Smooth texture, tannins are softened but still present. Medium weight, long finish. In a good spot now - as are most of the 2012s in my cellar. While it should have a good arc in front of it, I think this will be at its best over the next 5 years
