Bright cherries on the nose but darker fruits dominate the palate. A bit all-over-the-place flavor wise due to the heavy Mourvedre presence backed up by Grenache?? The Syrah that acts as a binder/bridge is ok but doesn't contribute much beyond that. A strange blend that works on a modest level but perhaps was simply he best that could be made at the time with the varietals available :-) Decent but not nearly as superlative as many Jaffurs wines are.

Light to medium bodied GSM, favoring the "M" with this vintage. Boysenberry, bright cherry, and a bit of hibiscus on the nose with good structure and bright red fruit on the palate.
