Wow! Time made this wine amazing. Mineral and savoury xinomavro with red fruit and some dried herbs. Very balanced. Still young. I would keep it for 10+ years. 93+

Medium garnet. Leather, tomato paste and olive on the nose, alongside some red charry fruit. Medium-bodied with firm tannins of good quality, almost high acidity and a long aftertaste. Nicely combining traditional and modern xinomavro character. From 2017 to 2025.

This winery was founded by the reknowned Greek professor of ampelography Haroula Spinthiropoulou and her husband. Its vineyard lies somewhat outside the boundaries of the Naoussa appellation, so it does not qualify as Naoussa V.Q.P.R.D., but as a regional wine, although it is made from 100% xinomavro. This does not prevent it from being one of the most expensive xinomavros on the market, retailing for almost double the price of most well-known xinomavros of the Naoussa appellation.
