Golden color. Nose: pineapple, apricot, and lemon curd with accents of vanilla, creme brulee, orange peel, hazelnut, and chalk. Medium/full body on the palate: lemon curd, peach, and pineapple framed by roasted hazelnut, chalk, unbuttered popcorn, vanilla, and white pepper. Medium acidity. Lingering unbuttered popcorn, hazelnut, chalk, and white pepper on the moderate finish. Lush, flavorful Cali Chardonnay. A touch hot and could use more acidity to balance things out, but otherwise extremely delicious. Drink now.
