Domaine des Vieux Pruniers Sancerre

Old World stink vs New World fruit. At least this has a personality, as opposed to my last bottle.

Boring, a bit thin and weak. But mostly Boring. Like the winemaker fell asleep while brewing this. But I appear to be in the minority.

{consumed over 3 nights} Night one, green apples, hay, biscuit, seashells and some lemon oil. Night 3 (fridge), this has oxidised slightly, but there's enough quality material here that the acids and fruits are lifted and intact. A quality Sancerre, and my first time (iirc) with this producer; med+ finish. 13,0% abv., recommended PnP, served non-blind.
