Eastside Bordeaux at Jan Olav's (Majorstua, Oslo) : Clear brick red. Sweet spices, tobacco/leather, barn and forest fruit on the nose. Medium body. Rustique style. Medium acidity. Spicy finish with some tannins.

App ; Watery rim, ruby core, legs. Nose ; Clean med- across the board. Sweet red fruit - damson and redcurrant emerged with time in glass. Palate ; Again Med- across the board including flavour intensity.Quit light. Disappointing. Conclusion ; This wine improved hugely in decanter over a few hours suggesting that it is no way near ready unless decanted for a few hours. It will definitely improve.
