St Nesbit Merlot Cabernet Franc petit verdot

Had this in an Auckland restaurant, special reserve. The cork was in good shape, the wine was translucent with brick tones. Straight out of the bottle muted nose with faint tertiary aromas. On the palate no primary aromas left, some tertiary notes and a surprisingly strong acidity that threw the entire thing a little of balance. OK to drink but definitely way past its prime.
