I have always liked this wine -- nice balance with good flavor and intensity, but not a fruit bomb and shows a really nice character. I hadn't had a bottle in 8 years, but still really nice. I have some magnums -- which I am happy about!

Another very nice bottle of Rutherford Ranch! Nice color. We decanted this bottle and it was once again a winner. With lots and rich berry flavors. Nice finish.

Oh so good. Nice color and fruity nose. Med bodied. Decanted it just got better. Lots of berries. Nice tannins.Good finish, Will drink again and looking forward to it.

Cherry interlaced with dry oak and strawberry on the nose. Cherry pepper and other spices dominate on the tongue. It's a little tannic and a little hot throwing off the balance.

Typical cabernet nose. Kind of thin color for a cab. Smooth, velvety feel but not thick. Low acidity so not a lot of life in this one, but well put-ogether with a sense of balance.

Calling themselves "Napa Valley's Best Value" Rutherford Ranch is certainly making a good argument for exactly that. This Cabernet Sauvignon shows good depth of fruit with nice structure, and a nice medium-long finish. This wine compares well with many of the Napa Valley Cabs selling for $10 more in price.
