Deep dark red wine. Long time to open up. When it first was opened the wine was not very good - maybe an 85. The fruit was nondescript. When I brought it our from the refrigerator after a few days it was noticeably better - maybe a 90. The price point on this wine at Trader Joes is low so I should have equivalent expectations.

Big dark red wine. Surprisingly this bottle did not seem as good as the previous two. Although the fruit was "bright" it was not as developed.

Deep dark red medium body wine. Blackberry fruit with a hint of cherry that opened nicely. Satisfying finish. This is one of the best Coppola wines I have tasted.

Candied red fruits on the nose ... Red twizzler, raspberry jam, black cherry, a little mentholy minty-ness with some black pepper. Palate is similar very bright and fruity with some mint. Oak comes through with some vanilla and softer tannin but this wine lacks some complexity. Tasty little crowd pleaser though.

Good. One of the first good wines I had (relative to jug Almaden) was a cab from Inglenook vineyard, probably a 1977 or '78. After that, no more jug wine. The relevance? Several years ago Coppola bought the Inglenook vineyards. Perhaps, not quite what I remember, but this is a nice everyday wine. Good balance of red fruits, vanilla, violets; low tannins and medium finish. Enjoy.
