Domaine Latour-Giraud Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières Cuvée des Pierre

Citrus and mineral notes; the wine has put on a lot of weight since my last bottle; beautifully balanced notable acidity but that's balance by sweetness of the fruit. Viscous mouth feel and long finish. Very very good.

Green apple and citrus with mineral notes; notable acidity on the palate but that quickly disappeared with food. Good mid palate and overall nice viscous mouth feel. Moderately long finish. Drinks well now.

Good to see that this one was not oxidized. Bright light yellow. Lemon, apple with almond and hazel nuts, very integrated and ready to go now. Great balanced finish with mineral notes appearing at the end. No need to wait any longer.

Lifted, frangrant nose with lime, stone, mint, pear and hazelnet. Lovely nose. Silky entry that turns to racy lime and lemon at mid that stains the palate with razor sharp acidity. Crazy fresh for its age. I would guess this as 5 years old at most, except for the fragrant bouquet. Beautiful. Finish goes on and on with citrus and mineral notes. Very electric.

Starts out with a note of wood before the fruit shows. As the wine warms up the fruit emerges; green apple, lemon, lime, and additional complexity of stone and nuts. Very focussed on the palate, clean and vibrant. Very good finish. Needs another year or two but heading in the right direction. Good potential.
