This is a pretty rich and full Sancerre...maybe not to everyone's liking. I liked it though. Ripe stone fruit, lemon, apple, hay, earth, herbs, and a hint of cat on the nose. Lemon, apple, stone fruit, and earth on the palate. Mouthwatering acidity (could use more), medium body, medium-long finish. This style is not why I would normally drink Sauvignon Blanc, but it's the kind of wine that could stand up to heavier dishes. I'm thinking maybe fish in a …

This was fine but far below the top offerings from Riffault. Lacked concentration and length. That said, the style was more restrained so it appeals… Light citrus-dominated fruit profile, a touch of minerality, light mouthfeel and finish. Good balancing acidity.

Il a d�velopp� une certaine complexit�, sans atteindre celle d'un Boulay bien s�r, mais le prix est fort raisonnable. 89-90 pts Ma seule r�serve tient au fait qu'il ne me parait pas s'�tre am�lior� avec quelques ann�es de garde. Devrait-on le garder plus longtemps ou le boire en jeunesse?

Clear yellow and lite in the glass. Lemon, zest, tropical fruit and wet stone on the nose. Secondary stone fruit. Lite body, sturdy and clean with citrus, zest, brassy minerals, chalk and nuts on the palate. Med-short finish. Refreshing and excellent with food.

Pale yellow hue. Aromas of bright tropical fruits. Tastes of apple, melon, lemon, orange zest, and caramel. Very well balanced. Crisp resfreshing finish with some very nice depth, complexity, and length. Impressive stuff.

Pale yellow and green. Musky citrus fruit chalk and earthy aromas. Flavors are more about the chalk and earth than the fruit. Develops a bitter green grass note adding flavor interest. This is fuller than the Crochet. Doesn't have the nuance and brightness. Not as interesting as the Crochet Chene to me but this went great with the grilled snapper. Very good.

- Yellow color with medium forming legs and aromas of bell pepper. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of lemon with a medium body. Linear texture with a medium finish - Clean with a lime essence. Nice citrus tones and clear yellow color. Soft and pure.
