Kaleidos White

A solid Rhone white blend with good complexity. Has some nice petrol and limey minerals to add depth to the honey dew, white peach, green apple and lime fruit. It's showing a subtle spice and oily texture that reminded me of a good CdR white, but the alcohol creeps up at the end and shows you that its definitely new world. Drinking well right now, but may have a couple more years left in it.

25% Viognier, 25% Roussanne, 25% Marsanne and 25% Grenache Blanc. Light yellow color. Subdued tropical fruit nose. Soda minerality. Apple, melon and lemon on the palate. Refreshing acidity. Medium bodied. Lime citrus notes on the finish. Cold fermented in stainless steel barrels with no malo-latic fermentation. 88 cases produced.
