Drank this after a 2015 Tezza Amarone, which was clearly better. Nonetheless, this is a good and enjoyable wine.

Fresh, elegant, fruit driven Rhone red. Easy to drink, but seen the price level a bit underwhelming. Maybe this is due to the moderate 2014 vintage.

Classical Côte-Rôtie from a lesser, early drinking vintage. Elegantly styled, fruit forward, with a nice freshness and a smooth, bit velvety finish.

from half bottle. Decanted and consumed with Bavette. A slight red currant note married to black berry, black peppercorns and a very sight jubey quality. On the palate there is a sourness to the fruit that lends freshness to the mouth. Tannins are still grainy. Long. Pleasant.

Effusive and pure nose of pepper, red and blue fruits, violets. Light to medium bodied, pepper, smoked meats and blue fruits, mineral streak shot through, satin tannins, sensuous texture, good length. Lovely balance and drinks easily now. 12.5% ABV, from half bottle.
