Waited too long to open this one. It's faded into that tertiary phase where the fruit and tannins have evolved and become earthy and brown. Still enjoyable in an old Bordeaux kinda way.

Great example of high quality Napa cabernet. Could age more but no problem with drinking now. Totally complete wine from front to finish. And 2012 was not the greatest vintage in history.

Nose of black berry, hints of chocolate, same on the palate, oxidized fruit trying to show age potential, medium/big body, tasty, too oxidized for me, long finish.

3 Napa wines (Yan's China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.) : Nose of black berry, and black berry pie, same on the palate, big body, some chocolate on the palate, lovely, mouth filling fruit, touch simple, at peak, showing well, long finish.

Menthol has ramped up even more since last bottle. Will wait a few years on our last bottle to see where it goes.

Deep ruby in color with a distinct garnet rim. Pronounced aromas of ripe black cherries, prunes, eucalyptus, coconut, dark chocolate, and distinctive aromas of leather and cured meat. On the palate it is rich and luscious. dry with medium plus acidity, high alcohol, full body mouthfeel you can almost chew on with pronounced flavors prunes, cooked blackberries, dark chocolate, beef jerky. Finish is medium to medium plus and very satisfying. Very good wine, drink now, it is in its prime …

93-94 Splash decant, Really starting to hit stride, nice smoky dark fruit, lead/graphite, tannins partially resolved , still big structure and definitely a steak wine. No rush to finish but I think this at peak. I dont think this will hang in there until the tannin fully resolves but this is beautiful now.

An excellent big, bold cab. Very deep and dark purple color, nearly black. Menthol on the nose and palate, but not enough to distract. At least ten years left in it.

Deep ruby. Pronounced, developing aromas of blackberry, black currant, blueberry, violets, new leather, graphite, vanilla, toast, and just the very beginning of some stewed black fruits. Surprisingly fresh for a 2010. A truly exceptional wine from Regusci. Best I’ve had from them. Could easily age another five years or more.

Had at CBCC by way of KB. The wine was very aromatic and was singing way before getting into the glasss. I asked Karl where he got it and he mentioned that he bid and won it at the Auction NApa Valley. In mouth the wine was most definitely a bit of a meritage. Immediately notable black fruits with some plum that reminded me more of a Syrah than a Cab. It is a big wine make no mistake and …

The Angelo's cabernet is a well made wine, still big but somehow more elegant and restrained than the Patriarch. Dark fruits, a bit of smoke and leather with a long finish. I think this one will age very nicely and would love to taste again in 10 years.

Hillside vineyards provide a more stressful growing environment for vines, resulting in lower yields and bigger, riper flavors - and out four acre Angelo's Hillside Vineyard delivers the concentrated 2010 vintage in abundance. Bold, masculine aromas of cedar, currant, wood smoke, earth, and dark toast. The lush mouth-feel yields layers of ripe currant, black tea, chalky and dark chocolaty tannins with a cherry finish that has a mercurial lingering. As always, Angelo's will mature with authority over the next 15 …

Big tanins and woody when compared with Parallel Silver label. Question how long you can age the wine.

Popped the cork and let it sit for about 3 hours. The decanting really opened the wine up and every sip was a journey. This is a deep dark complex wine and was a perfect food pairing for a nice flank steak dinner. Dark garnet/purple with an opaque rim. Endless aromas with leather and tobacco leading the pack. Fruit was all there and a long finish made you just wait for the end that seemed to never come.

Subtle caramel, cassis, and floral notes on the nose. Black currant, smoke, and pepper are backed by firm tannins. Will age well. The finish is meaty, smoky, of medium length and has creme cassis to close
