Good enough but really didn't show us much. Certainly not young with tertiary notes, but not fully out of primary either. Finish was jarringly short. Grape mix was mostly muddled and indistinguishable; still medium+ tannins the only thing really indicating nebbiolo. Fresh cork in the bottle I had and did not feel 19 years old. Was expecting special/unique, got boring/decent. Oh well.

No formal notes taken, but if my memory serves me correctly this had a very nice nose with flowers and spices. Great balance on the palate with round tannins, medium body and good acidity. Dark, complex fruits with some leather and spices. Very, very good!

Vinoteca Winter Portfolio Tasting 2011 (London) : Pale red with translucent rim. Herby, autumnal nose. Lots of lush mid-palate flavour. Very long. Lovely texture too.
