Very jammy on the nose, stewed fruit and vanilla mixed with that characteristic pinot brambliness. Actually relatively restrained on the palate, moderate acidity, and quite rich.

Popped and poured. Light strawberry color. Was very excited by the nose. Aromas of mushroom, tobacco, wet earth and stone. Unfortunately, the flavor profile was a monolithic punch in the face of cherry cola. The rest of the elements...acid, tannin, mouthfeel, finish...were all kinds of boring. It was alright for the price point, but wouldn't seek it out.

Wine was clear ruby with Medium (-) intensity. On the nose it was clean, youthful with medium intensity. Aroma of red fruits, some slight baking spice as well as a tobacco note. The wine was dry with medium acidity and tannin. Alcohol was medium/medium (+) with medium body and length. Same flavors on the nose. Overall the wine was good to drink now but not intended for ageing.

Poured at a Pinot tasting party as one of the "inexpensive" options. Enjoyed by most, especially for the $14 price, although some mentioned they had purchased at closer to $20. Medium-dark red in color, raspberry or cherry on the nose, although a little murky. Some complexity and not as light as expected with some cherry or red fruit up front. Overall, for $14 it was a winner, although if you get up into the $20+ range, there are better options.

Nice light Pinot. Decent finish. It's an Oregon Pinot and not heavy fruit which I like. Good acid. But probably better last year.

Very watery. Color is a very light translucent maroon. Very thin/light-bodied and dry. Little bit of raspberry and cherry on the palette. Does open up slightly with time.

Agree with comments that it is too thin. Not enough fruit to balance the more mineral components. A little spice on the finish from the oak, but overall not a wine we wanted to return to after having another sip.

Friend brought this for dinner so no formal notes. That said this one seemed smoky and earthy on the nose with dark fruits. Balanced on the palate with tart berries and a mineral acidic streak that last through a warm, lingering, spiced finish. A nice wine but at the price point I see here (~$17) I'm more inclined to roll the dice than try this one again...

A little bit drier than most other '08 Oregon PNs I've tried. Definitely agree with those who've said it's somewhat thin. Decanted for almost an hour before pouring the first glass. Didn't change significantly from the first glass to the last.

Opaque, almost cloudy in the glass. This needs air to move from a sharp, fairly astringent wine to a much better balanced offering. Transformation took about an hour. Evolved to balanced bright red fruit with notes of sour cherry and vanilla on the palate. Not outstanding but a nice value wine.

Christmas dinner and good wine with Kris Caldwell, Noelle Norton, and Dale Maxwell. (Caldwell residence, Lexington, SC.) : Not exactly my favorite, this one was a little rough. There was a considerable amount of that sour milk acid taste. It overpowered the fruit, and lingered on to the finish.
