Pale lemon with green and gold flecks. Medium intensity, youthful aromas of buttercup, musk, melon, lime, wet rocks, and thyme. This wine has medium, plus acidity, high alcohol, medium, plus body and medium plus intensity flavors. This wine has flavors of buttercup, lime, lemon, THYME, herbs, ginger, saline and wet rocks. This wine has a long saline and lemon lime laced finish. This is a very good line that should be drunk between now and the next 10 years The …

White fruits and some butter in the reticent bouquet. On the palate a slight sparkle, citrus, fresh acidity, a touch of oak and a good length. 91+

Nice GV. Lots of fruit (mango, green apple, ananas), all very well structured. Not too heavy. Drinks easy, but with depth.

Pale lemon with medium intensity, developing aromas of Buttercup, muskmelon, banana, herbs/time, caramel, butter. This wine has medium acidity and high alcohol with medium body and medium intensity flavors. The pallet matches the aromas and the banana and the herbs predominate with a caramel and butter finish. This wine has a medium plus and it is a good wine that should be drunk now and the next 10 years.

Good notes by the others. I'd add its quite vibrant, good acid, yet nice fruit. Body holds well. And it's a screwtop!

roots can climb 20-30cm/year. floral, reductive nose. deep, layered palate. cream, flint, only a hint of white pepper. more like an elegant burg than GV with the buttery sensation. long finish. varietal characteristics of GV almost unnoticeable.

Russk. I brought to CDC at Villagio. Well liked. Clean, with some petulence and a tiny bit of bitterness in the finish. Willing to do again at 20P. 91-pts.

Clear silvery-yellow with a green tinge. Smelled a little grapey but mainly peach and lemon, the latter going to rind in the taste accompanying a touch of apple and strong saline flavors. High acidity, medium body, medium salty finish.

Oh baby this is a fun Gruner! PnP, consumed poolside but without any food (regrettably - as I think this could really sing with a wide array of foods). Colour is a clear pale straw yellow. Nose: the nose is the first indication that there is a lot going on here. Notes of fresh squeezed lime juice, lemon rind (not zest though…found the citrus elements more of the bitter variety than the zesty), some honey and wax and an ever …

A really good full flavored Gruner. Could see it getting better over a year or 2.

Entry Gruner from Ott - organic, biodynamic, nothing complex and nothing off-putting. Silver skinned celery seed, lime and lemon, with peachy orange accents. Simple the way I sometimes like.

Lots of personality here. Grapefruit, lemon-lime, and white pepper aromas display a lovely mineral intensity. Crisp and bone dry in the mouth, notably deep and complex, with crunchy green apple flavors and a laser beam of acidity. Superb for an entry-level wine.

This has lightish, honeyed aromas of lemons, limes, sandstone, veggie hints. Its medium bodied spherical opulent chewy honeyed stone fruits palate has got good acidity and medium length. 12%. This doesnt feel like a Grüner it feels more like a Chenin Blanc. This improves on day two.
