A nice light crisp white with grapefruit, lemon, lime in slightly grassy notes. Very good for the price at nine bucks a bottle.

Had this with Thai food--paired very well. Needs a bit of a chill to drink without food. Crowd pleaser, but lacking depth.

Worth the $7 and would buy again. Nice citrus fruit and mild acidity. Smooth drinkable, stand alone without food and dry enough to cook with. Not much different from Kim Crawford SB except at a better price.

nose: full sauvignon blanc fruit ; palette: dry sauvignon blanc fruit with the slightest hint of oak

Twisted open and enjoyed over a three day period, refrigerating the bottle in the interim. Light lemon color. Nice grapefruit citrus peel nose with a slight hint of white flowers. Fresh and crisp. Grapefruit is the predominate flavor. While lacking in depth, it retains a fresh and easy drinking quaffable personality. Not a wine to induce the writing of sonnets on fields of vines, but enjoyable served chilled on a warm summer day.

Excellent, especially for the price point. Nice citrus and mineral flavors, typical of a sauvignon blanc. Not super nuanced but, very good

A bit sweet and cloying--yet classicly NZ Sauvignon Blanc, only a bit on Steroids. If you need a weekday SB sipper for under $10 you won't beat it..,

A lovely, crisp, delightful Sauvignon Blanc. Very typical for the region, but that’s what I’m after.

Looks like a sauv blanc - medium pale gold. Smells like a lighter bodied SB. Grapefruit and gooseberry dominate the nose followed by saline and honeysuckle. Light bodied, acidic, and dry. Palate wise, it falls apart for me. Very simple acidic lemon and grapefruit profile. I can just detect some stone fruits and honeysuckle if I really swish it around. Medium long mineral and tart lemon-zest finish that almost becomes too sour for my palate. This wine avoids a lot …

Lots of acidic grapefruit matched with high sweetness. This tastes manipulated to me, but it stayed down.

Nice clean light yellow green color with grapefruit and pineapple bouquet. Clean and not as crisp as some SB's from NZ. Almost has a tinge of sweetness on the aftertaste. Really nice on a warm evening. Great buy for $ 7. Will buy again.

very grassy, very grapefruity. Exactly as expected. A bit too strong in character the first night, it had mellowed to a more palatable form by day 2. Definitely worth the price - great summer party wine.

nice acidity with lemongrass and gooseberry. I love NZ SB and this is a quality offering that is crisp and comparable to many of the leading SB's around. Bravo

Another winner from Kirkland. I think that they are geniuses for finding some quality producers to make their wine for them and just slapping their own labels on the bottles. It's much better than trying to source the right grapes, getting a good winemaker and still trying to keep costs down while puting out a good product. They have cut out the middle-man, so to speak. This is classic Marlborough Sauv Blanc. Crisp and sharp grassiness and the sweet and …

Nothing about this wine makes me want to try another bottle. Lots of melon on the nose and palate, but not much else. Unbalanced and not very interersting. Not at all crisp, which is always something I want in a SB.

Bought this based on a wine magazine review. Not bad for the price but other NZ Sauv blancs much better such as 2006 Palliser Estate. A bit too sour/tart for my palate, some melon and citrus notes, a bit of grassiness as well.
