A medium yellow-gold colour showing some maturity. The nose leans savoury and gently oxidative with straw, thatch, dried orange peel and quince beneath which lie bruised apple and yellow plum with a thread of mineral. The palate is broad and rich, with a spicy, dried-citrus accent (orange and cooked kumquat) and a slightly viscous texture. Acidity remains noticeable and tempers the wine’s weight - a little stodgy.
