Blind tasting of a number of Grosse Gewächse. Second one for the road. Dried fruits, but barely any anticipated exoticism. Herbs, caramelized apple rings and nutty aromas on the nose. Equally matured on the palate, too, with medium-strong acid and a certain creaminess. Appears a tad too plump. Yellow apples, nutty aromas and spices on the palate.
