A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Sangiovese. 20-day maceration. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels ranging from 225 to 1000 liters. Still surprisingly youthful, blueish dark cherry color; almost completely opaque. Juicy, rich and somewhat sweet nose with aromas of very ripe dark berries, some smoke, a little bit of plummy dark fruit, a hint of alcohol and a touch of brambly blackberry with an overhanging veil of oaky spice.
