May 2025 Tasting Trip to Champagne, Burgundy and the Rhône; 5/22/2025-5/31/2025 (La Belle France) : Tasted at the domain. Smoky damsons, cassis and ginger on the nose. Palate is spicy and tight. Redcurrant and plums. Lovely

Pretty nose of red fruit, blackberry, and floral notes. Good intensity. On the palate with red and black fruit and some savory notes. Good balance, medium tannins, very tasty. Will only get better.

Really enjoyable bottle. Punchy red and purple fruit and a dose of that syrah animale funk. Has the great balance and structure of the vintage. Impressed
