I liked this better than the Sauvignon Blanc, but was again a bit underwhelmed by what I'd expected. The flavor was modest, oak tate was present, but it felt fairly plain and less of a blend of tropical fruits and apples that I'd read about. I didn't taste the popcorn on it at all. Light color, very restrained fruit and more acidic than typical California Chardonnay. I would pair this with fish and oiler foods for balance, as opposed to drinking it by itself. I would wait at least 6 months before trying the next bottle.
