Trimbach Riesling Alsace Grand Cru Geisberg

More linear than the 2018 Mandelberg tasted next to it, despite the souther exposure of the vineyard.

Color is light straw. On the nose: Petrol, citrus and lots of minerals. On the palate: Lemon and orange, pineapple and other tropical fruit notes, bit of honeysuckle. Great acidity and length. This is very good.

Straw-colored. Medium intensity. On the nose, petroleum, honey, citrus, some fat, and some saffron. The taste includes honey, citrus peel, some bitterness, and some white pepper. Drinking the wine somewhat resembles the feeling of drinking cold fresh water from a mountain stream.

Golden, slow thick drops. Herbs, flowers , petroleum , honey, lemon peel, raspberry nose. Lemon and gooseberry taste. Bright and lively, plenty of fruit and a touch of petroleum and acidity.

Pale gold colour. Medium and developing nose with petroleum, yellow apples, peach wet stone and smoke. Medium taste of yellow apples, peach, pineapple, lemon, wet stone and smoke. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Alsace Riesling Grand Cru. Drink now or over the next ten years. Goes well with cheeses, fish, shellfish or sushi.
