Pillitteri Estates Winery Cabernet Franc Exclamation Reserve

Very enjoyable Niagara wine! This is one of the wineries in Canada that does it right. Beautiful nose with dark fruits and vanilla. Palate has jammy red fruits and dark chocolate on the finish. I'm very critical of Canadian wines but this is really well made. Fun to drink.

Fragrant bouquet of balanced red berries and fresh fennel wrapped nicely with a layer of cedary oak, toasted clove and hot stones. A touch of old world aromatic here. Elegant palate, clean and lingering flavours reflecting the nose. Medium-bodied structure which is polished. Finish is dry with hints of dried herbs, adding an interesting dimension to a supple and lingering ending. Ready to drink now and for the next 3-5 years.
