Revision to my rating. The sulfur dioxide in here is probably why it has lasted. If you are sensitive to this like me, not a good scene as I am now feeling and hence the new rating. If you are not, then very tasty bottle of wine. Orig comments with a 91 rating: Had a few bottles from years ago & cold tonight so didn't feel like going down to the cellar....grabbed a bottle of this. So the cork falls …

Beautiful aromatics of toast, currant and pencil lead. Wonderfully expressive. Very silky on the palate with dark flavors and good length. had a restaurant so no detailed notes.

blackcurrant and spicy French oak on the nose. Dark and inky. Good fruit and spice. Dark berries flavors and vibrant acidity linger on the palate. Short aftertaste but with smooth tannins. Drink 2006-2009.
