Complex Penedès wine that is just entering its drinking window now. Varietal composition: a blend of 60 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 20 % Samsó (Carinyena). Maturation: the varieties were vinified separately and then aged for fourteen months in Burgundy oak barrels (25 % new, 75 % third use). Color: dense dark red (almost black) with a violet rim.
