Earthy, funky nose with mildly notable volatility, lots of cherry as well. Similar on palate. Rather dense for a Beaujolais, yet relatively low in acid and tannins. Seems like a warmer year wine, for sure. Decent and interesting, though not quite what I'd typically look for in a Cru Beaujolais.

Lots of volatile acidity made it hard to smell any fruit. What fruit I could discern appeared to be very ripe. Perhaps it was just a flawed bottle.
