Cab Franc certainly dominates with green pepper and black currant fruit. Medium weight, tannins still evident but riding out of town. Would not hold this much longer but still very good now.

A solid Washington State blend but (in my estimation) the Cabernet Franc outshines the other grapes a bit too much. Overall the blend just didn't hit me right but I can see how others would enjoy it.

Same as earlier note. Great wine at $33.

A PLCB special priced at half the CT tariff shown. Cellar patience rewarded based on the comments here. Medium body, dark cherry provides primary fruit flavor, Cab Franc supplies just a touch of pepper. Tobacco and eucalyptus on the nose. Good depth, medium finish.

Yakima Valley Bordeaux Blend. (38% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Merlot. Organically forward nose shows aromas of tobacco, mint, green pepper and dark cherry. Flavors of dark cherry, cassis, green pepper, graphite and dark chocolate. A bit lower in body (Medium) and tannin than expected.

Solid wine but still feels very young and tannic.

Closed down. Ran through the Menu decanter and back into the bottle twice to see if it would wake up. Definitely the least approachable of the 2012 single vineyard blends tonight. Red fruit: cranberry, currant. Spice, oak, vanilla. Drink now with air - 2028.

Uncorked ≈45 min prior 38% C.F., 33% C.S., & 29% Merlot grown in "ancient basalt soils;" Aged for 19 mos in FR oak barrels (33% new); N: RIPE berries melded with earth & probably choc, pyrazines way underneath, but tough to parse; A brightness to all of this! P: Med, poss LM, body; Very NICE, almost swtish frt met by puckerish astringency which, fairly seamlessly, pretty much resolves by the LONG, slightly spicy, ult pleasant finish to the few, dusty …

Be a showcase of the vineyard. Is the design. Smells of it's 24 months in new oak. Still has some cherry. And green notes. And the palate is there but I like the elegance of he less expensive tier.
