Dark, very slightly translucent plummy red color. Open and slightly wild nose with aromas of ripe red and dark fruits, some inky tones, a little bit of earthy garrigue and a hint of leather. The wine is full-bodied, juicy and lively on the palate, although the flavors are perhaps lacking a bit in intensity. There are notes of ripe dark berries, some plummy tones, a little bit of brambly blackberries, light sour cherry bitterness and a hint of earthy spice. …

On the first day this was quite stinky with a real sharp vinegar-like tone, a little VA and Brett? Made it quite hard to enjoy. But on the second day that had all blown off leaving lovely ripe fruit, good depth on the mid palate and a toasty, charcoal finish.

Kind of weird nose. At first yeast in a plastic bucket, almost oxidated. With time it gets better, dark berries, some stem, liquorice, roasted coffeebeans. The palate is a bit thin with a metallic feeling. The yeast pops up ones in a while and the wine seems to change constantly during the night. Fun but not great.
