Over promises but underlivers. Plenty of lead pencil, tobacco leaf and cedar notes on the nose, cassis and some dark plums trying to match. Also hints of cocoa and wet earth. Palate is a let down, soft on entry, some dilute cassis fruit that tastes (at the same time) a little confected, tannins and acidity course on the finish. You get what you pay for in Bdx it seems.
