White Pine Winery Visit (St. Joseph, Michigan) : Sampled at the winery. Sourced from Herman Farms near Coloma, Michigan. Aged for 18 months in 1, 2 and 3 year old Hungarian oak barrels. My favorite of the reds we tried. A little licorice on the nose. Notes of dark cocoa and black cherry. Solid tannins. Very good well rounded wine. 90 points.
