Lovely. Not great or complex but lovely. Open for business but will improve. Wild strawberry fruit with a dash of rose petals. No sign of the hot vintage, this is elegant and nicely balanced.

Dense ruby. Dark red fruited on the nose, a sense of plushness. Initial impression on the palate is similar, but with a slight sense of rusticity. Initially quite plush, tannins becoming a little more evident with air. Decent acidity. A little more structured than the straight village wine, darker fruited too.

Wide open. Red fruited and clean, with a brilliant purity. softened but still very youthful. Finish a bit simple but this was terrific.

Mature nose of sous bois, cherry and spice, silky tannins. A lovely burgundy. I think these are totally at peak, so I’d drink up personally, but delicious now.

Lovely burgundy, fully ready to drink. Juicy red fruits, especially strawberries and cherries, pot pourri and a bit of earth. Really juicy strawberry palate with very smooth tannins. Very nice.

Full and rounded with dark fruits and spice. Ravishing upon opening but closed slightly after 2 hrs, revealing some lovely, albeit astringent strains of Turkish delight in the process. Lovely now but plenty more in the tank.

Quite dark in the glass. Nose a little shy at first, black cherry fruit and forest floor earthiness. Palate is soft, low acidity and little evidence of tannin. Black cherries and that forest floor earthiness again. This comes over as quite developed. Delicious and easy drinking. Not sure about the 2030 drinking date TWS gives it, I'd say drink up sooner rather than later.

Dark for Pinot. Inky hint of iron on the nose also some coffee, chocolate kind of nose. Ripe fruit on the nose and palate. Really good quality sweet fruit. Almost fruit bomb like which I found slightly overpowering and detracted from this wine. It does not have sweet Pinot nose I seem to find in pinots I really enjoy. Full bodied. Spicy long finish. Tannins were not the fineness but I sense a hint of stems which gives it good …

We have opened a few of these over the last couple of months - all who have had them have enjoyed them. Light, red fruits on the nose. Quite light but with a nice finish. Very easy to drink. Will hold a few bottles back to see if this develops any further.

Nice bright red fruits on nose. Seemed a little closed and didn't give too much away. Slightly off balanced on palate. Better on second night with red fruits and some spice. I wonder if this needs more time to balance out and become a bit richer.

A great bottle, splendid light red fruit, fresh and lively, almost no tannin to contend with and eminently quaffable. Lashings of red cherry and raspberry on the palate with a wonderfully enticing nose to go with it. Lightweight, smooth, like a rich fruit squash. These 2015s are just excellent, and at £24 this was a good buy.

Juicy and smooth with a long finish. Earthy plus raspberry & blackcurrant flavours. Fresh acidity and low tannins. Good but could do with more complexity

Pretty rustic/old school. Doesnt seem like it's heading over the hill but I'm also not sure there's much room for improvement. Could be good with the right meal.

This is a great wine but it's in an awful place. Very tannic, awkward, bitter. Leave well alone for 5 years.

A completely different animal to the lighter 2011. This has great concentration and polish with a nice mineral background note underpinning the lovely strawberry flavours. Acid and tannins give an enjoyable kick on the finish. This will age well.

Nice pinot punching above bourgogne ordinair level but misses some smoothness and real finesse.

Classy northern Burgundy. There is some power on the mouth yet still quite pleasing.

Savoury spices on the nose, also some nice red fruit, smokey. Subtle and smooth, good fruit, spicy, good acidity, great length. Pretty good value. Should gain complexity over the next couple of years

Nose is quite floral with hint of sour cherry and background oak; could almost be from Piemonte. Dry palate with slightly jagged tannins and quite marked acidity. The fruit has a nice chalky underlay. 2016+
