in appearance, an intense ruby , with long tears. The nose is medium plus - initially of cassis and vanilla , opening out with a couple of hours aeration into red cherries, menthol, stewed plums, chocolate, thyme, and vanilla. On the palate , acidity is medium with flavours of plums, cherries, chocolate, cocoa, leading into a medium finish. It has a basic earthy character of cabernet sauvignon and has a good basic structure. Very ripe, fruity and sweet cherry and plum, but it's slightly too sweet. Smooth texture. Easy drinking. Good quality to price ratio.
