Three Sisters Winery Gewürztraminer

Unique, very cool wine. Medium onion skin colour, nose is classic dry Gewurz with floral/soapgum , licorice - palate is dry, mid-weight, also very Gewurz, and is quite expansive retronasally - really quite nice, subtle and serious, avoiding some of the cloying characteristics of the grape - the guy in the wine shop said that you could drink it contemplatively in a snifter like a cognac, and I think he's right! Quite a unique wine, I like it.
