Absolutely indifferent to this. Nothing special, darker than I expect for Oregon pinot. Nose was lacking, palate was dark but not layered. Balance was OK. Meh- and didn't live up to my expectations.

Rather full bodied. Doesn’t have the Pinot Noir taste profile that I know. Simple. Can’t say it is bad, but it doesn’t excite me.

Very disappointing second tasting—maybe past its peak? Has lost a lot of fruit and vibrancy

Big and bold. Too much black fruit and sweetness. Rather simple finish. Not the Oregon Pinot character I was looking for.

Purple colour with some slight hints of red. Bouquet has floral tones (lavender) and some earthy tones. Flavours of blueberries and plum, followed by red berry, hint of licorice and vanilla. Body is moderately light but does not take away from the complexity of the flavours. This is a very nice bottle - I like that it is somewhat fruit forward but it is not overwhelming. Still some acidity present.

Vanilla, cherry, strawberry, caramel. Tastes like Cherry Pie. So fruit bomb at the start but flavours mellow after an hour. Fun but will not restock

체리, 화장품, 꽂, 블루베리 괜찮은 산미, 뭉근한듯 부드러운 팔렛, 그르나슈같은 향긋한 아로마의 피니쉬 함께한 와인들에 밀리긴 했지만 참 좋았다.

cherry, earth and red berries dominate the sublime fruit. medium tannins with good acidity. this wine is all about balance. needs an hour to open up but when it does, the complexity rises to the top. not over oaked, not too ripe. just beautiful fruit with a strong up front earthiness that is hard to put your hands around. i don't think it's a wet earth but more of an dirt/soil type of earthiness. the wine ends with a wonderful …

Paired with filet on Thanksgiving. Opened about two hours before drinking. Ripe red fruit on the nose and very slight chocolate. Drank over the course of about two hours. After dinner it did start to fade and actually got more green notes and picked up more vanilla.

The first bottle I had of this at 67PM drank well (91+), but the next two bottles (retail purchases) were letdowns. Bottle variation/provenance perhaps?

Didn’t show as nicely as the first time I had that vintage. It’s still a very solid Pinot Noir with notes of cherry raspberry strawberry and a bit of forest floor. More powerful than elegant, maybe that’s why I was a bit disappointed given the pedigree

As someone who drinks cola about every 15 years, it's not the first adjective I reach for when trying to describe a wine, but it's here in spades, as well as raspberries Sweeter than I'd prefer, though a certain dustiness helps Pear lurking, maybe even grapefruit More New than Old so far Glad to be wrong about the grapefruit Red cherry, but without the underlying almond Professional, but lacking facets or nuance, i.e. still too sweet Would hold for at …

Incredible Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Aromas of purple flowers, leather, dark chocolate and dried cherries. Dark cherry flavors are accented with baking spices and a hint of cocoa. Long and expressive finish with beautifully harmonized acidity. Outstanding!

So this got so much better after an hour or so in the glass. It started out very restrained but then opened up into a lovely Burgundian lady by the end of the night.

Med ruby. Med intensity red cherry, herbs and an elegant wood spice note. Dry, w/ med acid, med to med+ tannins and high (14.5%) but unobtrusive alcohol. Nicely balanced, but with only moderate intensity and length. More Burgundian than West Coast. Still quite youthful, it will gain in complexity with aeration and a couple years of aging.

Ripe juicy red cherry, earthy mushroom, forest floor, and light charred cedar from the moderate well-integrated oak. Soft, plush tannins with a medium-plus to full body. Fruit predominates, but plenty of earth. 60:40 New:Old World profile. Delicious!

This wine was a perfect pair with duck breast and butternut squash purée with cherry duck demi. The nose was complex, I didn’t have time to really take notes but I remember some cedar, wet earth, and cherries popping out. More cherries and red berries on the palate. Smooth tannins. Nice acidity.

Rich red fruit with gentle tannins and a pronounced acidity. The influence of the oak adds the complexity to complete this wine - mocha, vanilla and clove integrate well into the juicy dark cherries. This probably can age for at least another 5 years.

Visiting Vancouver and the Willamette Valley; 8/26/2021-8/30/2021 (Vancouver, WA and the Willamette Valley, OR) : Domaine Serene's 2018 Evenstad Reserve Pinot is a deep ruby, medium-bodied wine that possesses a rich core of well-structured cherry, blood orange and dark plum fruit.
