M. Chapoutier Collioure Chrysopée Blanc Domaine de Bila-Haut

Tasted at Vine Expo MBS Singapore. Too many wines to taste hence only rating and no tasting notes.

Initially lemon citrus, but opened up and ripeness came to the fore with apricot and mandarin. Solid whack of oak spice and a spray of salinity. Noticeable oily texture, I've never had a Grenache Gris before but this felt very Rhone from the get-go so seems true to terroir. Good but not great. Grenache gris Funky nose Diesel Not impressed, but fine

Served at 55* citrus fruits. Toasted bread. rich and smooth with no hard edges. Great stuff!
