Second Sunday Group: 2009 Bordeaux (Augie's) : Faded crimson core with a brownish meniscus, decanted off its sediment and poured immediately. Opens with a mushroom note which turns to cherry and perfumed florals. Very pretty and elegant bouquet. Flavors of cherry, iron, mineral and dust with the cherry & mineral notes remaining very apparent on the finish. Soft and elegant, with a fleeting finish. 87 pts.
