Women Winemakers of Austria & Germany at Plum Market (Chicago, IL) : From a blend of nine different grapes. A little funky with some earthy qualities, and more focussed on the acidity than the fruit. Fairly light, and not vapid as many roses can be.

BEST BUY! It hard to find rose this good. It has the intensity and lip smacking deliciousness of a young Beaujolais coupled with the elegant regal stature of Bandol. The color is a dark pink or light red - I can't tell which. The aromas are of dark black and blue fruit. The flavor is pristine. The acidity is strongly present but never dominates.
