Surprisingly acidic.

Pretty reticent on PnP, so decanted for 2 hours - Loose tobacco, plum, and tomato leaf on the nose. Palate is mostly dark fruit, with a lightly balsamic finish. Decent QPR.

This is ridiculously tasty. And, for once it is not necessarily the fruit that is prevalent. To me this tastes first like sun dried tomatoes with some Parmesan cheese. The nose is violets with dusty dark cherries. The color is moderately opaque purple. About medium bodied. A mature dry tannin taste on the roof of the mouth.
