Antonin Guyon Beaune Clos de la Chaume Gaufriot

Good wine overall. Pretty nose, red fruits, earth, some light complexities, acidity is nice. Not a ton of upside from here for my liking, will finish remaining bottles over next few months.

One of the first purchases I made in terms of red Burgundy. I have become a big fan of Beaune since then. This wine opened up in the glass and really impressed with its mouthfeel. Not heavy on the pallet with very lively tannins. Paired will with oxtail. I have another one of these that I won’t open for a few more years.
